Stockbridge Information Stockbridge was not built by Norman Rockwell, but it is the town that Norman Rockwell built. A tourist Mecca and home to 2,276 permanent and summer residents, Stockbridge is devoted to maintaining its quintessential New England patina. Its Rockwell-perfect Main Street and nearby attractions — such as the Rockwell Museum — are crowded with tourists year-round. Just south of Lenox, Stockbridge is located on Route 7, which intersects with Route 102 in the center of town.
