Pittsfield, MA – Michael Supranowicz, President and CEO of the Berkshire Chamber of Commerce, recently announced that Bob Heck has joined the Chamber as Member Relations Representative. Heck’s responsibilities will include actively supporting the Chamber's goal of increasing membership by retaining members and providing assistance to ensure a high level of member satisfaction. Heck will spearhead the Chamber's member retention program, working to strengthen the Chamber's relationship with its existing members while also fostering relationships with potential new members.
"I was able to learn a lot about what the Berkshire Chamber does while working with them during my time at Live 95.9, and when I started my own business, it was a no-brainer for me to become a member," commented Heck. "I’m excited to be working for a great organization with great people."
Prior to working for the Chamber, Heck worked for 9 years at WBEC-FM, Live 95.9 in Pittsfield as an
on-air announcer, including a five-year stint as host of "Bob Heck in the Morning." He also worked in sales and production during his time with Vox Radio Group and currently runs Bob Heck Entertainment, a company that provides a variety of entertainment for weddings and events throughout the Berkshires.
"We are pleased to have Bob on board as a membership ambassador," stated Supranowicz. "His high level of experience in public relations is most certain to bring enormous value to member retention."
Bob Heck is a 2009 graduate of the Chamber's Berkshire Leadership Program and resident of Pittsfield, where he lives with his wife Jen and daughters Kendall and Ashley.
